Digital Switchover
Starting in 2008, the UK will begin its digital switchover. Analogue signals will be gradually switched off and all houses will receive a digital signal.
The analogue signal will be switched off according to ITV region, in a phased rollout, starting in 2008 with the Border region and ending in 2012 with the Meridian, London, Tyne Tees and Ulster regions.
The timetable is as follows:
